The Apostles of the Church of 8 Wheels are skate instructors that are sent out be messengers/ambassadors of the Church.  They are spreading rolligion throughout the land by teaching the skills that will open a whole new exciting world of roller skating to all. They have all went through rigorous training and have been certified to teach skating by the Skate Instructors Association and are more than ready to teach you how to skate.

Realizing that life is more fun when wearing wheels on her feet, Sharon, also known as Adventure Girl, has experienced epic events that would not have happened had she not found her passion.

Some of these events include the Black Rock Roller Disco at Burning Man, a movie shoot, participating in parades and gigs spreading the joy, cheering the runners at Bay to Breakers, not to mention, becoming a certified instructor in a soaring church turned roller skating haven surrounded by space and high glass windows.

Adventure Girl is a San Francisco Roller Girl – SFRG.  We’re a team of five who love to skate and promote fun and fitness.

We train for the Napa Valley Inline Marathon held every year in July

You can find this roller girl on Sundays at Skatin’ Place in Golden Gate Park getting her groove on with her fellow skaters, and most Friday nights in this city’s classic Midnight Rollers Friday Night Skate.

Skating has brought fun and fitness to this life, but most of all, it’s been about finding the best friends an adventure girl could ever hope to find.  Proud to be among the twelve ‘apostles’ of the Church of 8 Wheels ordained as a certified skating instructor, Sharon’s here to show you the way.
