The Apostles of the Church of 8 Wheels are skate instructors that are sent out be messengers/ambassadors of the Church. They are spreading rolligion throughout the land by teaching the skills that will open a whole new exciting world of roller skating to all. They have all went through rigorous training and have been certified to teach skating by the Skate Instructors Association and are more than ready to teach you how to skate. |

Greeting Future Skaters! The re-birth of my PASSION TO SKATE came to me through; of all things, a TV commercial featuring roller skaters skating around the disco floor. The scene took me back to a memory where I was 15, roller skating with my church in San Ramon. I was in awe.I have not been on a pair of skates for over 15 years! But that was about to change. For my birthday, along with safety gear, I bought my skates. Soon after I began to practice at least 4 hours a day. Over time I became more |

comfortable and confident on my wheels. As my confidence I was helping other beginners of all ages to achieve the same goal: TO SKATE! I have always enjoyed being involved with the community because I believe every one has a voice. I currently serve as a board member with the California Outdoor Rollersports Association (CORA) and work on staff at The Church Of 8 Wheels. I participate in Sunday Streets, San Francisco Pride Parade, Cow Hollow Easter Parade and The Guinness World Record (longest chain of skaters). For the past 6 years I have helped build the Black Rock Roller Disco Theme Camp at Burning Man. My physical activities include downhill skiing, bicycling, dancing, walking, weight training and roller skating. Let me help you roll in to the future! Thank you ) |
